Read the joint EU NGO letter to European Ministers on EPAs
A series of African Caribbean and Pacific countries initialled interim European Partnership Agreements (EPAs) with the European Commission in December 2007.
 
The agreements were initialled despite protests from within the ACP countries about the way in which the negotiations were conducted and about the substance of the agreements.
